This past winter, Zaid went to Egypt to visit the Batea and Hurriah Farms and to
conduct business in the export of organic herbs to the United States. These farms are owned and operated by the family of workers that come to Norwich Meadows Farm for
our summer/fall season.
During this time, Zaid also attended the BioFach Trade Show in Nuremberg, Germany. BioFach is the largest organic trade show in the world. It is here organic farmers and manufacturers of organic products from around the world gather to promote and make contact with each other in a global effort to increase the ever expanding markets for organic products.
