What is a CSA?

CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) is a system in which consumers—often called members or shareholders—form a direct partnership with a farm. As a CSA member, you invest in the farm upfront, providing essential capital that fuels its success. Your prepayment is the farm’s lifeblood, supporting everything from seeds and soil amendments to equipment and skilled labor.

In return, members receive a regular share of the harvest. The contents of each share change with the seasons, giving you access to an ever-evolving selection of freshly grown produce.

Joining a CSA is a commitment to sustainability. Your support for local agriculture helps reduce your carbon footprint, minimize waste, and promote eco-friendly farming practices. Your choice makes a positive impact on the environment, the farm’s vitality, and your own well-being.

How Does It Work?

While CSAs have so many benefits, they are not for everyone.
While CSAs have lots of perks, they’re not for everyone — and that’s part of the charm! Our traditional-style CSA means you might get a few surprises in your box each week. You won’t pick each item, but that’s all part of the fun and adventure of eating seasonally. A few days before pickup, we’ll send you an email with your share’s contents so you can plan your meals ahead of time.
Each CSA location is run independently, so be sure to check out all of our pickup spots below for details. Curious what a share looks like? Click here to see examples from past seasons.
The Deadline for winter signup is December 10th
