Harvesting yellow wax beans for the farmers market

Ways to Buy From Norwich Meadows Farm

Norwich Meadows Farm is a working organic farm in upstate New York.
What we grow and make becomes available in different ways depending on the season, the crop, and the logistics involved—rather than as a fixed, year-round catalog. Below are the primary ways people access food directly from our farm.

Farmers Markets

We sell directly to customers each week at farmers markets, including Union Square Greenmarket and other locations throughout New York City, New Jersey, and Upstate New York. We attend markets year-round, and what we bring each week reflects what is being harvested from the fields at that moment.

In addition to fresh vegetables, our farmers market stands often include pantry and preserved foods made from farm-grown crops, such as fermented and shelf-stable items. For a current schedule of our farmers markets and locations, visit our Farmers Markets page.

Norwich Meadows Farm staff preparing wholesale produce orders in New York City

Wholesale & Restaurant Sales

Our wholesale program serves restaurants throughout New York City and other parts of the country, as well as private chefs, catering companies, and select retail partners. We value collaboration with the chefs who use our produce, and their input helps shape what we grow—from varietal selection to crops rarely grown in this region. We source seed from around the world and work with breeders, using feedback from the kitchen to inform trialing and longer-term growing decisions. Following produce from seed to plate—and understanding how it performs after it leaves the kitchen—directly influences how and what we grow.

Freshly harvested radicchio packed in crates at Norwich Meadows Farm

Shop Nationwide

We ship a rotating selection of fresh produce, curated boxes, and value-added farm products directly from the farm. Our Farm Box, Chef Box, and other curated collections are built around what’s being harvested at that moment and reflect the same seasonal vegetables we sell at farmers markets and supply to restaurants.

Each box reflects what's ready at harvest—what's available in July looks very different from October. See What’s in this week's box

Beyond fresh produce, our pantry collection includes fermented goods, pickles, jams, and preserved items made from farm-grown crops. Some products are chef collaborations—like our kimchi made with Danny Bowien—while others are traditional farm preservations. Availability shifts with the seasons, and we also offer a small selection of farm merchandise."

Community Supported Agriculture (CSA)

Our CSA is the core way we share the farm’s harvest.

CSA members receive a weekly share of vegetables during the growing season, packed by our team and picked up at designated locations. Shares are prepaid, seasonal, and pickup-based, reflecting what is being harvested from the fields at that moment. This is a farm-led program shaped by seasonality, weather, and crop conditions—not a customizable box or delivery service.

CSA works best for people who enjoy cooking seasonally and want a consistent, direct relationship with the farm over the course of the season.
