What Is Mixed Baby Lettuce?

Mixed Baby Lettuce is a curated blend of young, fully formed heads from multiple lettuce varieties. These are harvested at an early stage for tenderness while maintaining enough structure to hold up in composed dishes.

Varieties may include oak leaf, butterhead, crisphead types, lola rossa, green and red leaf lettuces, and romaines—selected based on what is performing best in the field.

What Does It Taste Like?

Balanced and dynamic, with a range of textures and flavors. Expect soft, buttery leaves alongside crisp, structured ones, with notes ranging from mild sweetness to slight bitterness.

The mix is designed to create a complete salad experience without needing additional greens.

How to Use Mixed Baby Lettuce

• Layer varieties for contrast in texture and color
• Dress lightly with vinaigrette, citrus, or olive oil

Because the heads are intact, they hold up better than cut mixes and allow for more precise plating.
